Pankaj Tripathi goes live on Instagram to make a ‘big’ announcement, forgets what it was: ‘I don’t remember…’

“Hello everyone… and I don’t remember why I came live today! It is a frequent habit of mine, those who know me can testify on my behalf,” he said. When fans started interacting with the Mirzapur actor, Pankaj continued the exchange briefly but then added he truly forgot his “purpose” for coming live.

“I mean it really is something, you come live and then you forget why. Well, never mind it. I am extremely sorry for this. Whenever I remember why, I will immediately either come live or just post it on social media. Until then please keep giving me all your love,” he added.

Many were, however, left wondering if this was a promotional gimmick for the actor’s next film. “I just hope this was not an activity for his next film, don’t expect this from Pankaj Tripathi,” one person wrote, while another wrote, “Is this real or a brand promotion?”

On the work front, Pankaj Tripathi was recently seen in Fukrey 3 and OMG 2, which emerged as box office hits. While Fukrey 3 featured him as a part of an ensemble, OMG 2 saw him headlining the project, which saw Akshay Kumar in a supporting role. He will be next seen in the third season of Mirzapur, where he returns with his fan favourite character of Kaleen bhaiya.
