Wow. This place just goes on and on and on. Spectacular indoors and out. The gardens are beautiful and well-maintained, and the palace itself is just incredible. Actually it's like 2 or 3 palaces in one building. We were not able to book the tour of the upstairs rooms--you need to do so many days in advance, but honestly there's so much to see outside of that.
You could see the Real Alcazar in just an hour or two if you wanted, particularly if you choose a time when fewer tourists will be present. But I could spend days there. The mosaics are stunning, the decoration, the baths, but my favorite part was the gardens, fragrant and lovely. I could sit and read there for hours.
Super quick purchase, entered without any problems. Palace is beautiful-the best time to go is in the morning.
Gorgeous gardens and grounds/palace where Dorn was filmed for Game of Thrones. Regrettably my flight was delayed and I missed a special event held there - the gardens by night. I'm sure it would've been magical.
Booked for 11.00 - many tours and a wedding party going round. Although some rooms got crowded we still enjoyed the visit Cafe basic but reasonable - we stayed 4 hours - gardens are very lovely
