“Achievement for All” is our stated aim. We are proud that boys and girls of all abilities make very good progress at Woodham Academy. This is because our highly experienced teachers challenge all students to do their best, all of the time. Lessons are exciting, often using the latest digital media. Teachers at Woodham Academy enjoy working with young people and are committed to doing their very best for them.

Whilst the teaching at Woodham Academy is rapidly gaining a national reputation for innovation, our values are unashamedly old-fashioned. We believe in good behaviour and good manners. Lessons are quiet and orderly so that teachers can teach and students can learn. Our ethos is of unconditional mutual respect.
