Love, a beautiful and abstract feeling that is hard to describe and even harder to get out of. However, one irrefutable universal fact is that love hurts. The story of Masamune Kun No Revenge is a story of how deep feelings of love can turn into feelings of bitter hatred.
The story revolves around a young chubby boy named Masamune. As he was growing up, Masamune fell deeply in love with his long-time childhood friend and a very wealthy girl named Aki Adagaki. When Masamune finally mustered up the courage to confess his feelings to Aki, she not only straight-out rejected him but told him that he looked like a pig and gave him the nickname “Pig’s foot.”

This incredibly cruel rejection shook Masamune to his core, and from then on, he decided never to look back. After this rejection, he began working out, dieting, and losing weight, all in the efforts to become good-looking and one day exact his revenge on Aki.
Masamune changed his name and began going to the same high school as Aki. His ultimate plan was to make Aki taste her own medicine. He planned to seduce Aki somehow and then reject her at the last minute. It turns out that Aki is disliked by a lot of her classmates and her servant, and Masamune using this to his advantage, takes the help of his classmates and Aki’s servant to teach her a valuable lesson.
Will There Be A Season 2 Of Masamune Kun No Revenge?
Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, could be worse than leaving a show at a cliffhanger. If you’ve watched season 1 of Masamune Kun No Revenge, then you’ll know that the ending of the romantic comedy wasn’t comical at all. The first season of the show was released in 2017, and with its cliffhanger ending, everyone thought that season 2 would get released immediately. However, as you all know, that wasn’t exactly the case.
Even after almost 4 years to its initial release, there still hasn’t been a single word about the show’s second season. Although 1 OVA episode was released in 2018, the studio and the production have gone dead silent. So, will there be a season 2? To be honest, we really don’t know. We can speculate however much we want to, but the fact that the studio hasn’t released any information yet proves that season 2 isn’t going to hit the screen any time soon, not in the year 2021 at the very least.
However, we must not lose our hopes yet. In a lot of cases, we have seen studios restarting their halted productions. This means that even though season 2 might not come out this year doesn’t mean that it won’t come out at all. In this world full of chances, anything is possible, my friends.
