James Franco to join hands with Tommy Lee Jones for The Razor's Edge

James Franco to join hands with Tommy Lee Jones for The Razor's Edge

The action thriller titled The Razor's Edge, will see actors James Franco and Tommy Lee Jones coming together after 17 years.

Lee Jones and Franco previously collaborated on-screen In the Valley of Elah in 2007.

The action thriller, which will be helmed by director Demian Lichtenstein, will go on floors on June 25 in Georgia.

Producer Corey Large, known for Paradise City, It Follows, and The November Man, will back this project. Written by Lichenstein along with Vance Duplechin, the film follows a hitman, who vows to leave his dreadful past behind, who once again resorts to violence when his daughter and lover get targeted by the syndicate while being pursued by an even more lethal assassin.

Large is producing the film under the 308 Enterprises banner. Executive producers of the film are Kirk Shaw and BondIt Media Capital's Matthew Helderman, Luke Taylor, and Jordan Nott.

Franco last appeared in the 2019 film Zeroville and lent voice in the animation film Arctic Dogs in the same year. His upcoming films Kill the Czar, The Long Home, Alina: La Hija Rebelde, The Policeman, and The Price of Money: A Largo Winch Adventure are in different stages of production. Lee Jones, on the other hand, featured in Finestkind and The Burial in 2023.
