The old men meet a young girl, broke, hungry and discouraged, in the park. Colonel Henry Randolph Ransome (Henry B. Walthall) bluffs his way into obtaining enough money to support the welfare of the girl,Rose Wentworth (Sally Blane), and his two cronies. He sends for the girl's former sweetheart, who turns out to be a crook.

Nice little Pre-Code B that obviously slide in just under the wire before the Code clamp down. For something that flirts with prostitution, robbery and gangsters the tone of the film is rather sweet because of the benevolence of the trio of fairy godfathers who take Sally Blane's character under their collective wing.
A surprisingly charming film from the little Chesterfield company as the old guys of Hollywood (Henry B. Walthall, Wilson Benge & Lafe McKee) save Sally Blane from throwing her life away! Walthall and his pals like to sit in the park and just talk. One day they come across Blane, a country girl lost in the big city and about to get caught selling herself, and the guys save her from getting arrested and starts making a foundation for her, including renting her an apartment and getting her former sweetheart from her old town. But with that comes several obstacles and you'll just have to see how that plays out.... What I can say is that it's a enjoyable low budget films making the most out of a simple means with good actors for the main parts.
