Dominick "Big Trin" Trinchera (20 December 1936 – 5 May 1981) was a Bonanno crime family capo who, alongside Al Indelicato and Philip Giaccone, was murdered at the behest of Joseph Massino in 1981.

Dominick Trinchera was born in The Bronx, New York City in 1936 to Italian immigrant parents from Rome and Naples, and the 350-pound "Big Trin" fathered several children with his wife Donna before becoming a mobster affiliated with the Bonanno crime family. On 12 July 1979, he, Philip Giaccone, and Al Indelicato murdered Bonanno boss Carmine Galante at an Italian restaurant in Bushwick, Brooklyn on the orders of The Commission, and they were each made caporegimes as a reward. However, the three murderers became involved in a succession dispute with Philip Rastelli, Joseph Massino, Dominick Napolitano, and Salvatore Vitale. On 5 May 1981, Massino invited the three capos to meet with him at the 20/20 Night Club in Clinton Hill for a sitdown, and they shared some laughs before Massino secretly signalled masked hitmen Vito Rizzuto, Vitale, and two others to burst into the room and stage a fake robbery. Rizzuto ordered the men to put their guns on the bar, and, when Indelicato called the masked gunmen stupid for messing with capos, Massino said that they were not as stupid as he was, and he proceeded to turn around and shoot him in the head. Trinchera charged at the gunmen screaming, but he took a shotgun blast to the torso, sending fifty pounds of his stomach flying and killing him.
