ASU is a wonderful place to follow your dreams and be around others that are motivated and unique. i did the only program and it was such a beautiful experience to get my degree while still being able to have the flexibility of life! 10/10 recommend
The thing I liked the most is that there was so much to do. Even after doing classes there were always events or just amenities that were available to us. Although one thing that is annoying is how thin the dorm walls are. I could here a lot of what's going on outside, so it sometimes made it hard to sleep. I was in the Barret Honors dorms.
Great college to be a part of, friendly people and a great community to live in. I loved being a part of a fraternity where I made a family away from home, so great to be a part of a brotherhood.
Being an online student at university was a great experience. I constantly had my academic advisor checking in on me asking if I needed any resources for tutoring or scheduling time with my professors. My professors made it easy to schedule time to speak to them when I had any questions.
I like the community feel of ASU, including the campus, diversity and student life. However, I don't like some of the lecture professors or their teaching styles. I would definitely suggest finding a small community to be apart of and plant roots.
Arizona State University is a great campus to attend overall. There are many things to do on campus and many places you can go to off campus especially around the main campus which is in Tempe, Arizona. From night life restaurants to the many different sports you can play with the campus clubs, you won't find yourself bored on that campus. When it comes to the classes and your scheduling its all on your own time you choose your classes from the type of classes which are online, hybrid and in person. When it comes to the teachers there are some not fun teachers, nut that comes with every college most of them love their jobs and students that they have and want to see them suceed in life.
professors and classes within the arts are great, but the school is so thinly spread that every single department (other than business i guess) is an underfunded mess
Arizona State University offers diversity in a large campus atmosphere. The professors are understanding of the learning curve of being with family to being in a large campus without family. There are affordable meal locations on and off campus. Security on campus is present to ensure safety to all. Tutoring is available along with large open areas in the library to create study groups.
I enjoyed meeting new people from all over the place with the same interests as me. The school offered many opportunities and provided materials necessary to study. I would like to see more means of transportation to and from the college when living off campus because parking was always full and expensive
I have had the pleasure of attending Arizona State University as a full -time online student with the exception of taking in person science laboratories since Fall 2022. I have enjoyed the hands on experience demonstrated by each professor and an enthusiasm to see their students succeed. I also enjoyed the community within other classmates as they are all friendly and portray nice etiquette. I would recommended this university as it demonstrates a wide range of diversity within students and allows for inclusivity. Advisors are available to be scheduled to assist you in your future academic goals.
I liked attending ASU online for its flexibility with my work schedule and affordability. However, I did feel it lacked challenge and contained no hands on elements, which is where I usually thrive. Overall theses issues are with my personal learning style and not a fault of ASU Online
Everyone has been very helpful in helping me succeed in my degree. This includes councilors, professors and even TAs.
I have enjoyed my time at ASU, but I can't help but feel that the courses aren't as well developed as the courses I took in high school.
As an international student, Arizona State University has been very welcoming. The university is very well-rounded, if one decides to take advantage of it it is a great place to find tons of opportunities. I am a rising senior and already got an internship at a top company, made awesome friends and learned a lot!
My overall experience at ASU was very calm but lively at the same time. I enjoyed the peaceful morning stroll to my class every morning but was delighted to see the booths outside in the common areas of the campus. These gave an opportunity to interact with fellow students and sometimes they had games or interactive activities. Additionally, there were many networking opportunities to students to utilize in order to find jobs and connect with individuals in their respective fields. Something I would like to see changed is more areas for cooling off. Arizona is very hot but sometimes the fastest way to class is not always the coolest. The main paths have lots of shade though which is nice.
My experience with Arizona State University was wonderful - the school was flexible and allowed me to complete my degree at my own pace and within my own schedule. The professors were always responsive and helpful and I never had any issues with communication or technology. I would highly recommend ASU Online to anyone wanting to complete their degree with flexibility.
I transferred to ASU Online in early 2023 and have really enjoyed most of my classes and been impressed by many of the professors.
