Jeremy Allen White’s career is at an all-time high, as she just celebrated his first Emmy win last night. But the actor appeared to take a subtle dig at his estranged wife Addison Timlin during the acceptance speech.

During the awards show, which was held on Monday, January 15, in Los Angeles, Jeremy was the recipient of the 2023 Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his work on Disney’s The Bear.

Jeremy’s Emmys Speech Gave Insight Into His Divorce

He began his acceptance speech by expressing gratitude to his loved ones for helping him attain this career milestone, including his colleagues and parents.

“I’m so proud. I’m so full of gratitude to be standing in front of you all. I love the show so much. It filled me up. It gave me a passion, it set a fire in me to match the beautiful work done by [creators] Christopher Storer and Joanna Calo,” Jeremy 32, said. “The beautiful cast and beautiful crew I get to share a space and stage with. My parents. I love you, thank you for your support.”

However, it appears he then went on to subtly address his ongoing divorce by thanking everyone who stuck by his side through dark times. Jeremy dedicated the awards to the two daughters he shares with Timlin but declined to mention his estranged wife during the speech.

“Thank you to all those who have stayed close to me, especially in this past year, you know who you are,” the Shameless alum continued. “Thank you for believing in me when I had trouble believing in myself. I love you. And Ezer and Dolores, I love you so much. This is for you.”

Jeremy And His Wife Disagree About His Drinking

Reports allege that Addison filed for divorce last May after becoming concerned about Jeremy’s drinking. The parents-of-two have reached a custody agreement over their daughters, but it seems to reinforce the claims that Jeremy has a drinking problem, given that he agreed to do substance testing before having scheduled visitation with their toddlers.

Moreover, Jeremy must wear a Soberlink device that will monitor whether he’s sober or not when his girls are in his care.

“Addison’s not getting into details, but she’s seen some red flags when Jeremy has a few too many, and she doesn’t want him drinking or drunk around the children,” an insider told Life & Style in October of their split. “She’s just being a cautious mom.”

Though Addison and Jeremy’s divorce hasn’t been finalized, he’s already moved on and is currently n a relationship with singer Rosalia. The actor made headlines earlier this month for hitting up a strip club without his new girlfriend in tow.

While Addison made a heartbreaking pot in May lamenting over the struggles of single parenthood, she’s been relatively silent about the divorce. She’s not addressed Jeremy’s recent comments in his Emmys acceptance speech.
