The castle is beautiful and massive, it has a wonderful garden and surroundings. We really enjoyed our time here, just walking around the area, being amazed.

We visited in early September when the crowds were low and we had the place to ourselves. The gardens are very well maintained and pretty. It’s a great place to hang out and relax. The castle puts out chairs for people to enjoy.

Bratislava castle has some great views of the city. Especially if you climb up to the top of the tower (it can be like a sauna in there on hot days). The castle itself has been rebuilt recently, so is not too spectacular inside and the exhibitions are pretty basic. Go for the view and the gardens.

It has a great view of Old Town from the top of the Tower. The grounds are beautiful as well. Do not bother paying to go inside just a little bit of history and all the rooms all look the same. Beware the castle and grounds are closed on most Sundays.

We enjoyed looking around the castle on a boiling hot day. The rooms were all very similar White and gold! There was a forces open day which added to it. The forces band was playing. It was constitution day and entry was free, bonus. Garden we’re very pretty
