October 16 1909-American President William H. Taft and Mexican President Porfirio Díaz met for the first time for a summit in the El Paso-Juarez border. A luncheon was hosted by President Taft in El Paso, followed by a dinner by President Díaz in Juarez. Private discussions led to agreements made. TAFT DÍAZ serves as a testament that great things can flourish when you welcome others at your table.

Delicious breakfast in El Paso! Excellent service all around. Our server, Desiree, was cheerful and attentive. The food is fresh and flavorful- really good pancakes, chilequilles and the beans are excellent!!!
Stanton House /Taft & Diaz is my new favorite place to stay when I visit in El Paso.

Food was absolutely amazing. Came for Morhers say. Oscar was our server. He was the best!! Wendy the sous chef was incredible, very professional and came to our table to describe the dishes.

We love this spot! The food is always incredible and the staff is excellent! Angela was our server tonight and she was very courteous and offered excellent advice on menu options! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Loved the service, our waiter Luis Felipe was very attentive to detail. The food was not very fulfilling. The duck was a bit too tough to enjoy, with the plate feeling incomplete but the sorbet was very good!

Last weekend we went brunching for a friend’s birthday and it was a truly delightful experience. Our waiter Luis Felipe was attentive and friendly.
Food excellent as always. It’s definitely a must in El Paso.

Desiree was amazing . We came in for lunch but they were still serving brunch and the service and food were phenomenal. We stayed until they served lunch and it was delicious . Desiree not only gave great service but she also makes an amazing espresso martini. Def recommend this place and appreciate the wonderful service from Desiree . Definitely coming back for dinner
