I honestly don't think either of these opinions make much sense at all. Alch buffing is virtually mandatory in any boss bloon that isn't Lych (and is absolutely still used in Lych events when the boss is not actively present). That doesn't mean it needs a nerf. It also doesn't mean it needs a buff. Nerfing or buffing top path alchemist in a significant way is not a good idea.
