      Jamesha P Surprisingly good. I've never watched Kevin Hart in a serious role. He never ceases to amaze me. This like all his other productions is worth the watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/20/23 Full Review Lukas K Kid (Kevin Hart) is an international star, popular comedian and successful actor. Most recently, he starred in the sci-fi blockbuster The Anti-Verse, which has already grossed over $1 billion at the box office. Now he's on a comedy tour that will make a stop in his old hometown of Philadelphia. Here he meets his older brother Carlton (Wesley Snipes), who in the past has repeatedly received money from Kid to finance his failed business ideas. The brothers' night of drinking ends in a tragic incident that jeopardizes everything Kid has built. "True Story" is a solid but unexcitingly pulled mini-series. I like Kevin Hart as a stand-up artist, but as an actor I don't think he really excels here. The ending was quite successful in my opinion, but unfortunately it contained logical errors that surprisingly nobody really noticed during the filming...
