One Perfect Day plot

Tommy Matisse hears music everywhere, from traffic to his girlfriend Alysse's heart. He decides to study at the London Conservatory, where he conceives the idea of writing a modern opera. Meanwhile, he keeps in touch with his girlfriend and family on the other side of the world. Things don't go well there, and when his sister dies of an overdose, Tommy decides to go back. He is quickly gaining fame as an experimental DJ on the Melbourne club circuit. Alysse, however, is devastated by the loss of Tommy's sister, which she feels guilty about, and sinks further and further into drugs.
