SUPER JUNIOR Completes Seoul Concert For “SUPER SHOW 9: Road”

SUPER JUNIOR completes their Super Show 9: Road concert in Seoul – with heart-fluttering special moments with E.L.F.!

Super Junior successfully finished their Seoul performance of SUPER JUNIOR World Tour – SUPER SHOW 9: ROAD, which was held at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul for 3 days from July 15 to July 17.

SUPER SHOW, which has established itself as a K-POP representative brand concert throughout the world, has returned with more spectacular stages and directing for the 9th season.

Super Junior prepared a total of six sections, including encores, and showing a variety of compositions such as “Very Far Away: Those Who Lost Memory,” “Daydream: Me Come To Save Me,” “Sentiment: Memories,” “Classing: God Of Music 1,” “Classic: God of Music,” “Rock: New Travel,” and “Encore: Analog Radio.”

First, “Burn The Floor,” “The Crown,” “SUPER,” and “Mr. Simple” opened splendidly. Super Junior performed “Ticky Tocky,” “Paradox,” and “Mystery,” for the first time in SUPER SHOW and said,

“I missed it so much and almost cried. Seeing the blue ocean makes me feel overwhelmed. Thanks to you whole filled the concert hall, I gained strength. Thank you for getting through the time we couldn’t meet together.”

After introducing the recently released 11th full-length album Vol. 1 The Road: Keep On Going as “I am grateful and will continue to write for you in the future,” the title song, “Mango” was released for the first time in front of the fans. The stage was more complete by bringing the outfit just like what it was in the music video.

In addition, the first stage of all the songs from the 11th regular album Vol. 1 including “Don’t Wait,” “My Wish,” “Everyday,” and “Always” and the stage of the special single song titled, “Callin'” that was released earlier for the fans. Also, they reinterpreted “Beautiful Child” in a rock version, and continued to perform hits songs such as “Devil,” “Black Suit,” and “Sorry Sorry.” A total of 27 songs including “House Part,” “Wonder Boy,” “Let’s Dance,” and “Walkin'” performed at encore and filled the concert with fun for about 3 hours and 30 minutes of performance.

Individual and unit stages also unfolded. Yesung opened with an emotional “Lost Heart,” and Donghae energetically mashed up “Blue Moon” and “California Love.” Ryeowook captivatedly covered “Dreams Come True” following “To Me.” Eunhyuk performed the fatal “Be” stage for the first time in a face-to-face concert. Kyuhyun proved his vocal skills with the electric guitar version of “At Gwanghwamun.” Super Junior sub-unit K.R.Y. released their emotions with “I Can’t,” while D&E released an energetic rock versions of “BAD” and “Danger.” Leeteuk, Shindong, and Siwon drew attention by preparing a different unit stage with Leeteuk’s self-composed song “Latte.”

The unique VCR video, one of the identities of SUPER SHOW, provided both emotions and laughter. Through the connected VCR, Super Junior said, “It stopped for a while, we can leave again” and “They are everywhere and always there.” In addition, they transformed into a classical musician through the “God Of Music” series and received enthusiastic cheers decorating the vocal versions of “SPY,” “Rokkugo,” and “MAMACITA” on this stage.

Above all, Super Junior and E.L.F.’s special tension which worked together with SUPER SHOW for the first time in a long time gave the greatest satisfaction ever. Leeteuk said, “It’s been a long time since we’ve seen each other and I think we haven’t aged yet. We thought ourselves cool, you must have felt it too.”

While trembling, “actually, I was afraid but you filled our confidence from the start with your shouts. The fans were the most worried about the performance. You made it the best performance,” he said sincerely.

Eunhyuk said, “I gave up my scalp and bleached my hair because it’s been three years since I met my fans. Tiki-taka who was with you at this moment is the image I’ve been dreaming of.” Yesung said, “when I was drenched in your love, there came a time that I couldn’t meet you, and I thought that fans were the driving force behind Super Junior. Thank you for continuing to believe in me.”

The promise of certainty about the future journey emphasized the message of SUPER SHOW 9: ROAD. Si-won said, “It feels like a good sign and a signal. Starting from this concert, let’s write a new story together.”

Meanwhile, Super Junior will continue its SUPER SHOW 9: ROAD world tour around the world, including Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, and Indonesia, and will actively communicate with global fans through their 11th regular album Vol. 2 album in the second half of the year.
