Zeppelin Wars is a Military game made by IoIkiller101. It is a remaster of myrkyrwarrior's Zeppelin Battle. The game takes place in the early 20th Century where the Patrol team fight against the Pirates team. Players can choose the Crew class to defend the Zeppelin or the Pilot class to fly a plane and take down other enemy planes, board to the enemy zeppelin or cause damage to it with a plane's bomb, rockets and torpedo.

Players can gain EXP and level up by killing other players, take down planes, destroying ammo boxes, Fuel tanks, and more. The game also features a Market where players can buy Weapons, utility and custom decals for their planes.

As of January 12, 2024, development has been officially discontinued on Zeppelin Wars, announced on the official Zeppelin Wars Discord server. The game has been made open-source as a result. Its official replacement game is named Airmada.[1][2]

Gameplay[]

Like in Zeppelin Battle, the Pirates and Patrol are fighting each other in a specific gamemode, players can choose either to be a Crew member or a Pilot and fight each other in order to achieve victory, players will earn weapons and utility by level up.

Gamemodes[]

Classic Mode[]

In Classic Mode, the Patrol and the Pirates have a zeppelin and both of them have 5 ammo boxes, 2 Fuel tanks, 6 propellers and 5 extinguishers. The main goal is to take down the enemy's zeppelin similar in Zeppelin Battle. A Zeppelin can be taken down by destroy both of its fuel tanks, burning or losing stability.

Raid Mode[]

In Raid Mode, the Pirates Zeppelin is heading towards a patrol base aiming to bomb the harbor. The patrol must take down the zeppelin before it reaches the harbor. Unlike Classic Mode, only the pirates have a zeppelin and it is slightly different than Classic mode. The raid Mode zeppelin has an AI captain. If the captain is killed, the zeppelin will temporarily stop moving until the captain respawns. One of the fuel tanks is in a different spot, and there are extra turrets on the zeppelin. The Patrol team have 2 Outpost and 3 Airbases. Pirates can also capture the Patrol's outpost by standing on the outpost without any enemies. The Patrol team can spawn in an Harpoon boat or an Assault Blimp if a player have 26 points, these can be used to attack the pirates' zeppelin a lot easier. Inside of the Raid Zeppelin hangar is a plane spawner on the right (when looking from the runway) and a balloon spawner in place of the 2 spawners on both sides.

Skirmish Mode[]

In Skirmish Mode, there are two Light Zeppelins in each team. There is only one fuel tank and two torpedo cannons. It's very similar two Classic Mode but the zeppelins are smaller and you need to take down both light zeppelins to win the round.

Dreadnought Mode[]

In Dreadnought Mode, both teams have a Dreadnought zeppelin, which have 3 fuel tanks, are much bigger than the Classic Zeppelin, are capable of carrying Scout Blimps, and have a balloon spawner near where the Scout Blimp appears. This mode is VERY unoptimized.

Battlefield Mode[]

In Battlefield Mode, there are 2 goals, with either 1 needing to be completed to win the game. Both planes, jeeps, and zeppelins can be used in this, with destroying both enemy zeppelins being one of the winning objectives. Maps can be massive; it can take up to 15 minutes to get to a single control point. Your goal is either to get to 3,000 score from control points (your team gets 1 point/second for each control point), or to destroy the enemy Carrier and Dropship zeppelins.

  • There's a 1/1000 chance for one of the Zeppelin to turn pink. This will cause the player to get the Irregularity badge.
  • The Rear Fuel Tank used to be able to fall off the zeppelin if the wood roof that is attached to it was destroy. This was later fixed and now the Fuel Tank will float instead.
    • The Front Fuel Tank can also fall off if the metal part that is underneath it is destroyed.
  • People who played the game in its Pre-Alpha stage will earn the Crowbar, a reskin of the Trench Mace.
  • Players can pick up the "Going Up?" sign from Turtle Isle if they detach it with an explosive. They can use it as a weapon and it instantly kill any enemies.
  • During Remembrance Day, a flag appears on Turtle Isle. If clicked, the badge "Armistice" is given and the person will earn the "Flag", a support weapon. However, as of the discontinuation of the developement of the game, the flag has been made permanent, meaning players can unlock it outside of Remembrance Day.
