I have been listening to so much Michelle Branch lately after I watched The Sisterhood of Travelling Pants 2 (where she has a song). I love love love her first album so much. Early 00s pop rock was a vibe.

Breathe is one of the best songs of all time.

I like her music but to me she has always been in Sheryl Crow's and Alanis Morissette's shadow 

Yay obviously.

Are You Happy Now? birthed Happier Than Ever aka dark anger 2nd lead single 

She said she had to give so many bjs in the music business that she got tired of it

She only released one great album  Her last two albums just have a lot of boring mid-tempo songs. The potential is there, but she never goes for it.

Hotel Paper is such a strong follow up to! And she's got some great stand-alone singles. I didn't like her last album very much mostly because I hated the production but I did like Hopeless Romantic though so I'm still rooting for her

Yay of course.

She recorded Lay Me Down so she's already A+ on my books. God that song is a hell of a memory from my grade school days. And she also has the immaculate Breathe, Goodbye to You, Are You Happy Now and Everywhere. I also adore her ballads Til I Get Over You and One of These Days.

I wish we could have a 2000s pop-rock rennaisance. So High School by Taylor is a step in the right direction.

I'm not too familiar with her music, overall. Every now and then I'll hear a song I really love, Shazam it and find that it's one of hers. So, I've been meaning to check out her albums. So far, based on what I've heard, it's a yay.
