Senior Airman Logan Keese

Senior Airman (SrA) Logan Keese was born in Houston, Texas, but spent the better part of his formative years growing up in San Antonio, Texas.  After graduation from Robert E. Lee High School, SrA Keese pursued five semesters of study in the Jazz Department at the University of North Texas where he played under the direction of Mr. Jim Riggs in the Two O'Clock Lab Band.

After his time at UNT, SrA Keese was given the opportunity to tour with the rock ensemble "The Polyphonic Spree" internationally from 2003-2005. In that time SrA Keese was given the distinct opportunity to perform in front of enormous crowds and share the stage with such rock icons as David Bowie and Queen, among others.  SrA Keese left the band to continue his education and graduated in 2009 with a degree in Orchestral Performance from the University of Texas at San Antonio.  Before his enlistment in the Air Force, SrA Keese primarily worked as a local professional musician and trumpet instructor for numerous students in the San Antonio area.  He has studied with a number of highly-regarded instructors including Jay Saunders, Michael Stienel, Alan Dean, and John Murphy.

SrA Keese began his enlistment with the United States Air Force in April of 2012. He is currently a member of the USAF Band of the West based out of Lackland AFB, TX.  In his spare time SrA Keese enjoys cooking, hiking, composing music, reading, and swimming.
