The Truth About Olivia Munn And Aaron Rodgers' Relationship

Actress Olivia Munn and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers broke up in April 2017 after dating for three years. While neither has spoken directly about their relationship and split, they each have made veiled references to what did (and didn't) go wrong.

In October 2017, Rodgers explained to ESPN that simply being a public couple was a challenge. "When you are living out a relationship in the public eye, it's definitely... it's difficult," he said. "It has some extra constraints because you have other opinions about your relationship, how it affects your work and, you know, just some inappropriate connections." But the cause of their breakup might not be that straightforward.

Munn has made quite a few references to a disappointing past relationship, and many people believe those references are about Rodgers. The Detroit News reported that while speaking at the 2019 Forbes Under 30 event held in the city, Munn divulged quite a few personal details about a previous relationship. "It wasn't until I had exited that relationship and I was able to look back and realize I had sold two different TV shows while I was in that relationship, which is extremely difficult to do," she shared.

What happened with Olivia Munn and Aaron Rodgers?

Olivia Munn continued by expressing her belief that this past relationship she was in (which many believed to be the one with Aaron Rodgers) was truly not supportive. "Because that relationship ended not having that support from him and him wanting me to just always be there to cater to every need of his and not be supportive of my needs... I was left so empty at the end," she said at the Forbes event (via The Detroit News).

Munn and Rodgers had to contend with quite a few rumors while together. Many people blamed Munn for the fact that Rodgers was estranged from his family. She even addressed this specific rumor while speaking to Andy Cohen on his podcast Radio Andy, and it sounds like the problems began well before she and Rodgers ever met.

"I was friendly with [his brother] Jordan," Munn shared in the May 2018 podcast interview. "I met the parents only a couple of times. Before he and I started dating he hadn't spoken to the parents and one brother for like eight months before we started dating."

Fans may never get all the answers about these two, but at least Munn had a chance to clear the air — and clear her name.
