Piper High School Reviews
Rating 3.68 out of 5 144 reviews
Piper is pretty much the stereotypical high school and most of everyone there is respectful. The teachers are nice if you’re respectful and a lot of the students are competitive academically so they have good grades. There are a lot of fun events as well. I think your experience depends mostly on who you surround yourself with!
We have "academies" that are oriented towards real-world learning. The academies are health and public safety, business, Engineering and Aviation, and Arts. Each academy has its own set of classes that students can choose to take and a lot of the academies offer a lot of really good real-world learning experiences that have helped a lot of the students decide on what career they want to pursue.
Piper High School has been home to me since I was a Freshman moving in from out of the district. I was welcomed openly and never felt excluded. I was taught tough lessons early on from my own immature decisions, but I never felt that anyone mistreated me because of it. I became a better classmate, teammate, and overall person from those tough lessons. Participating in extracurriculars has taught me so many life lessons, and how to conduct myself as an adult. Every teacher has tried to connect with me and help me grow not only as a student but as a person. If I had the chance to go back to redo the last four years, I wouldn't change anything, except for better lunches.
