Why do I feel like I can’t trust this Angel and Vicky… they’ve mentioned them in such a casual way but the little things we have heard…idk…it just feels “off”
I agree, two grown adults with a lot of effort and attention to famous children seems a little off to me as well. Can’t put my finger on anything specific but it seems predatory in nature.
I'm not accusing them of anything even in the same ballpark but this is the exact same kind of business Brian Peck was in
(Only with Brian Peck the angle was helping them with their acting and not fitness, because as Cory says in the episode where Brian Peck unfortunately plays his future self, he's a big boy)
They missed the joke that the porn parody of Boxarate should be Erotarate
Am I being grumpy and unappreciative by saying that although I know they wanna switch it up & keep it fresh (which I appreciate), I just like the interviews (sometimes) and the regular recaps with just the three of them? If they wanna add some razzle dazzle, we would love for them to finally recap "My Date With the President's Daughter (not on the "other" podcast, lol).
It could totally just be me, but I really look forward to the recaps on Thursdays and was kinda bummed this week. Granted, it was literally just this time lol but still 🙄
Unfortunately they said they found a bunch of these old sports videos they made with Angel and Vicky and they're going to rewatch all of them and put them on YouTube

It's not just you. Don't know why they couldn't keep these for the Monday episodes, and just continue the Thursday episode recaps. Was also bummed last Thursday. This seems like it just throws everything off.
Agreed. Keep this for Monday. For most of us, the reason we listen to the show is specifically for the recaps.
But I guess we have the choice to not listen. I was just really looking forward to the quiz show recap last week! 😭
It has become a routine where I rewatch the episode the Wednesday before, for the podcast, so guess I'm prepared very early for the recap.

I don’t think they are. Season four has been a heavy season—they have been flying through episodes too. They’re going to be done with the series in no time and working out what they’ll do once they’re done. They have quite a following.,

We get a little more info about what the weird deal was Angel and Vicky but not as much as I was hoping
The most interesting thing about it is that Rider's dad actually became their business partner for a while to try to make this series of workout/sports videos for teenagers, and they impulsively decide to call his parents and ask if they remember anything about Boxarate
(King Strong doesn't remember anything about it other than that he thinks Angel and Vicky kept all the money)
Oh, also, the video ends with an outtake of Andrew Keegan getting hit in the face that gets repeated over and over again to the point it feels surreal and mean-spirited

Honestly, there where multiple points during the episode when I thought I should just delete and move to the next pod in my feed. But I'm glad I listened because it was pretty funny throughout. If you like podcasts that feel like a fun hang with friends, this episode works.

Their continued rehabilitation attempts of Andrew Keegan give me the creeps. I will pass.
I had a feeling people may feel this way and I have to agree with you. This man is a leader of a cult. You can’t convince me that he’s a “nice” Guy or it’s a “nice” cult
I feel bad for Danielle though because she has such a history with Andrew and I feel like that’s why she brings him on. She still sees the innocent kid she used to go out with and not the leader of a weird cult

I need more information on this cult bit. Everything I've found so far doesn't prove it was a cult or that there was any wrongdoing. So I'm curious to see what else there is out there that is more incriminating.
(I have no stake in this. It was only when they previously interviewed him that I found out he was a teen heartthrob. I literally only knew him as the guy from the one episode of BMW.)
I wonder why they go into such nice video production just to put bits on TikTok? This episode would benefit from having the whole thing on YouTube
