Thomas Partey ruled out of Man City clash through injury

In a big blow to Arsenal, star midfielder Thomas Partey has been ruled out of their Premier League title six-pointer with Manchester City this evening with a muscle injury.

Partey has been one of Mikel Arteta’s best performers this season, anchoring the midfield that has been the driving force behind the north London club’s title charge.

According to David Ornstein, the injury is not too serious but it is bad timing for the Gunners as they welcome the reigning champions to the Emirates this evening.
