Along with the Assassin's Creed Shadows Collector's Edition looking like a stunning buy for avid fans of the franchise, there's a great selection of other pre-order bonuses and other versions on offer too. 

Like with many triple-A releases, there are a lot of different collectables and content to consider. Don't worry though, because I'm going to take you through the price, pre-order bonuses, and everything with each edition of AC Shadows to help you make the best decision.

Collector's Edition details

It wouldn't be a proper collector's edition without a large statue, and AC Shadow's of protagonists Naoe and Yasuke looks epic, with each character's striking warrior poses. 

Although packing a high price tag, this Collector's Edition's typical plus unique collectables like the steelbook, life-sized tsuba from Naoe's katana, and Creed Wall scroll make this one worth the money.

Standard & Limited Edition details

Buying AC Shadows in advance anywhere will grant players the pre-order bonus mission, "Thrown to the Dogs". However, Amazon stands out amongst retailers. In the Limited Edition, Amazon's exclusive equivalent of the Standard Edition, you'll get the above tasty selection of Assassin's Creed Shadows pre-order bonuses. 

Since Amazon's Limited Edition is available for the same price as other retailers with more content, it's likely to sell out far quicker. So, you'll want to get your pre-order in whilst you can. 

If you want to buy the standard version of Assassin's Creed Shadows digitally, you can pre-order it from the PS Store, Xbox Store, or Ubisoft Store.

Assassin's Creed Shadows Gold Edition

If you want to start AC Shadows with some in-game extras but aren't bothered about physical bonuses, the Gold Edition is the one for you. Packing the three days of early access, bonus quests, and even the Season Pass expansions, it's the ideal pick to get additional mileage out of the game with one price. 

Like with the standard version, digital game fans can also you can pre-order the Gold Edition of Assassin's Creed Shadows from the PS Store, Xbox Store, or Ubisoft Store.

Assassin's Creed Shadows Ultimate Edition

Ultimate Edition details

Essentially the expanded version of the Gold Edition, AC Shadows' Ultimate Edition comes with all of the above but with the epic Ultimate Pack: giving you an even better head start with extra skill points, the Hideout Pack and even the Sekiryu Character Pack. The Red Dragon filter for Photo Mode is an extra lovely touch.

If you plan to start Assassin's Creed Shadows the second it's available on day one, with all of the extra content which'll be available, this is the version I'd recommend.

Like with the other versions of Assassin's Creed Shadows, players can pre-order the Ultimate Edition from the PS Store, Xbox Store, or Ubisoft Store.
