One of the newer and nicer arenas to watch college basketball and hockey. There are plenty of concessions and restrooms though both can get crowded during intermissions. Take a moment and enjoy the historical displays on the outer wall throughout the 100 level lobby. Spend the extra money to get a 100 level seat for sporting events. The seats are comfortable and close to all of the action.

We watched a Badger hockey game over the Thanksgiving weekend. It was fun and the fans have lots of team spirit.

I was in Madison on business for a month, so I thought I’d check out a Badger basketball game. I got my ticket easily online and I was happy to sit in the farthest seat you could sit in. My back was literally against the far outside wall! Thank goodness for the large TV screens in the middle! I enjoyed all the traditions they had - Like singing songs (varsity) and swaying back-and-forth and making a W with your two hands and more . The only problem I had was parking. I suggest they have more parking around the stadium on the campus .

Went for a concert this November. The venue was nice. Parking sucks in the area so u less you take an Uber you will be walking. Beat would be to get to state street area ahead of time and have a few drinks before getting to the venue to avoid traffic. Another reason for the few drinks before hand is because they do not serve alcohol for concert events in the Kohl Center!!! We still had fun and the sound and concert was great but a full star gone for that. Who doesn't want a beer while watching their favorite band? I'm sure Dave Grohl wouldn't have approved if he would have known....

I have visited venues across the country and the Kohl Center is great for basketball, hockey and concerts. I have been there for all three and attended other venues that do not come close.

We traveled to Madison specifically to see a concert. This particular concert was VERY HIGH on our bucket list. The Kohl Center was a great venue. The acoustics, seating, and overall comfort were excellent.

I really enjoy the Kohl Center. From the museum like corridors to the loud and pleasant arena I've always enjoyed visiting there. It's got a nice location as well in the amazing Madison downtown area.

The Kohl Center is a great arena and the perfect venue for cheering on the University of Wisconsin Badgers. I was always a fan of the old Field house where games used to be played but this great arena quickly won me over with great seating and modern conveniences.

Why are seats in the 300 section the most expensive? For hockey?

Thank you for your answer. This was the UW concert. I was hassled at the door. I was told no Couldnt, and calmly asked why phones are allowed? They called a supervisor, he told me no. I again asked why, when phones are allowed. After waiting for about 15 minutes, he sternly told me ok. He made me feel guilty. Sad.

Hi- I am looking at tickets to purchase for a Carrie Underwood concert in May. They are for my daughter who attends school there. Wondering from a seating, acoustics perspective, what is best? There are some fairly low (row C) and others a bit higher that may have a better line of site and sound? Anyone have an idea? FYI- I don't think she is a "mosh-pitter" lol...
