My wife and I went on this great Acropolis tour. Anastasia was our guide. She was very knowledgeable and took us back to the days in history like we were all there. I'd highly recommend this tour.
Great tour. Our guide was smart, kind, fun and easy to follow and understand. She made sure we got from spot to spot with great information and ease. Earpiece was a nice touch to be able to hear the tour. Wear good shoes, be prepared for heat, bring water, and enjoy! We walked about 10,000 steps total with acropolis and museum tour.
Lovely to chill and sunbathe. 1.5h in each port and pretty spot to jump off and swim. Aegia is the pistachio island so there’s a lot of local produce to buy. Food on board was excellent and able to cater for vegan. Super friendly crew, 100% recommend.
Alexander was a superb tour guide! We requested a tour of both the highlights of Athens and the highlights of Corinth. He not only filled this request but got to know each of us (2 adults and kids aged 10 and 12) so that he could personalize the trip to our interests and activity level. We couldn’t have asked for better care and service. He interspersed the trip with stories and historical facts, as well as the perfect amount of pertinent info, starting with 10min of everything we really needed to know about the Acropolis- and it really was the perfect mix of information! Alexander even ended the trip at the airport, with the right amount of time to catch our flight. Amazing tour!! Very highly recommend their service.
Our tour guide George was a great host! We got to see everything we wanted to see plus more! Between each drop off spot, George informed us of so much history we all were unaware of. It was certainly a great experience and I highly recommend this tour, esp with this tour guide. Thanks George!
I have probably done at least 30 food tours in different cities all over the world. This was was definitely the best. Dimitra took use to areas where the locals eat and ordered the type of food they experience. The small group of six was an added bonus. The tour of the meat and fish market was very interesting along with the spice shops. This was the most food I have ever tasted on a food tour. Highly recommend this tour and Dimitra as a tour guide.
Our tour leader Eva was very informative. She was knowledgeable and her English was great. The listening devices were also very helpful, and three hours was just enough time to see all the sites.
We visited Delphi with #tag Athens and cannot speak highly enough of our fantastic tour guide Elizavetta (Liz). The tour was well organised - an air conditioned bus trip, a stop for buying refreshments and souvenirs, a tour of the Delphi site and a lower temple site, then lunch at Arachova with local dishes and another chance to buy souvenirs. However, the very best part of the trip was the commentary and personality of our tour guide Elizavetta. She is very knowledgeable and, as a teacher, she was very helpful in conveying information so that it would be more easily retained. Highly recommended.
We came in a day early for a cruise (landing at 830am and leaving the next morning) so we chose this tour because we felt it would be flexible if we had flight delays or travel drama (which we didn’t have). I communicated with them by email ahead of time and they were super helpful in ensuring I bought the right entry tickets for the right times.
It. Was. Amazing.
George was fantastic! He communicated well, told us so much about all the sites he took us to. Changed around the order to be sure we saw the changing of the guard. He was timely, friendly, knowledgeable and made our day amazing! I don’t know that I ever want to do a tour any different way from this point. I actually forgot about the gift so that was a surprise and so sweet.
I booked it because I read these reviews and I read the one stars first. Most of those appear to be people who just didn’t read the description. It was exactly as stated and delivered an amazing day where we felt like we really got to see everything in Athens we wanted to on a short timeline. THANKS GEORGE!!!
I have done MANY a wine tasting… so we wanted something a little different - my daughter found this experience and it was truly exceptional!! Katarina was phenomenal- she is a scientist at heart and training to be a sommelier- her knowledge was superior! She explained the history of wine and five red Greek varietals - I finally understand the difference of acidity and tannins! We then made a wine label and experimented to find the perfect blend- our two blends were almost complete opposites! Give this new experience your time- You will not be disappointed!
Great trip. Picked us up on time and we had only 5 passengers in a roomy mini van. Delphi is a must see. We saw many other things, hot springs, museum, lunch, etc.. My only complaint is it’s a long day. 12 hours.
Beautiful views, once we got there. The trip is long, coming from Athens. It takes nearly 5 hours one way. Just be prepared! The bus stops at 2 1/2 hours into the drive, (for 25 minutes), at a rest stop where you can use the facilities and buy food. Once you do get there the scenery is great!
This was the highlight of a 10-day Viking vacation. We had a great time in many places, but Athens is certainly a premiere stop for any history buff. Almost all of our tour guides had a degree in Archaeology.
We had an amazing day. Our guide was Dimos and he was an absolute star. We couldn't have asked for more, very knowledgeable and also fun. Myself and my 11 year old son went on the tour of the Acropolis, we both thoroughly enjoyed it. If you are looking for a guide I would definitely recommend.
