Window on Main Street was a Syndication network comedy-drama series created by Roswell Rogers.

The show aired from October 2, 1961 to May 23, 1962, lasting for one season & 34 episodes.

It was produced by Rodney-Young Productions FKB Productions (pilot episode only) and Temopic Enterprises.

Plot[]

The series centered on writer Cam Brooks, who returns to his hometown of Millsberg where he renews his friendship with Lloyd Ramsey, the editor of the local newspaper.

The people of Millsberg become the subjects of Cam's stories.

Broadcast History[]

"Window on Main Street" premiered on Monday, October 2, 1961, following the second and final season of the sitcom, "Pete and Gladys" and preceding "The Danny Thomas Show".

The program filled the time slot vacated the previous season by the unsuccessful sitcom, "Bringing Up Buddy." It was paired opposite "The Price Is Right" on NBC and "The Rifleman" on ABC.
