Journey of My Heart- I enjoyed this one. It is almost exactly the same as Chasing Waterfalls but I still enjoyed both. Leads were very charming. Scenery was beautiful. Enough to entertain me on a Saturday night
So this is basically Chasing Waterfalls but less white? I’m pretty sure the waterfall in Hidden Canyon is the same one they used in that too. The nature is spectacular so why not I guess.
At least in this it’s an innocent mistake and like, actual interest in nature rather than wanting cool stuff to sell magazines. And when they find out the photo and coordinates were not meant to be posted they take it down immediately to sort things out. Good job.
But yeah, the best thing about this movie is definitely the pretty nature.
The acting is a bit choppy. Especially in the beginning it was quite rough.
I’m very happy to see them wear proper clothes when…
this movie literally gets one half star for not using red-tailed hawk calls for the eagles and one half star for casting indigenous actors in those roles but please allow me to list the insane things they did
had an ornithologist wearing a lab coat?
multiple crop tops as field clothes
a shot of “eagles” soaring that was definitely vultures
a magical species-swapping bear
terrible research design
i could go on
I’ll always watch Hallmark films; doesn’t matter the title they give them or a plot that’s been done five hundred times. This one was so much better than I thought and that scenery. So beautiful. One of my favourite Hallmark ones from this year for sure.
Her friend at the beginning said "well, i am no Freud, but you're dreaming of eagles... soaring... in the sky... sky rhymes with guy! You'll find a guy!"
And tbh that's exactly how I imagine Freud's thought process
Good movie. The plot and the cast were very good and the scenery was amazing. I am not a hiker but I totally wanted to go there.
Still mulling over how I feel about the Native American incorporation…it’s great to see representation but all to help a white women feels iffy.
Lead actor’s performance was subpar and the chemistry wasn’t quite there. Great views though!
