Overall, Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan is a very understanding and academically strong school. From personal experience, most if not all of the teachers are really friendly and are willing to help guide their students if they ever request for help. Additionally, the school provides an extra program called the "Wellness Center" which functions as a safe space for students struggling with personal issues. The school also offers plenty of AP and regular college prep courses-- giving their students a multiplicity of options to choose from. Furthermore, the food provided at the school's two cafeteria's are pretty good, to say the least (I personally think food is pretty fresh most of the time). In all, the school is rather outstanding :)
NVOT is a great school with great academics and professors. The school cares about the students and always provides extra help if needed. School is safe and is a great place to learn. Has wide variety of sports ( I personally have been in varisty swim team and varsity volleyball team)
There is nothing negative or bad experience about this school, except for great memories where I made a lot of friends, established great relationship with professors and coaches. I will miss the school when I graduate in few months.

My experience at this school has been good for the most part. Most of the teachers at Northern Valley Old Tappan are great. I have had teachers in the past that I trusted very well, and was comfortable enough to talk to. One of those teachers being my Junior year Physics teacher. He was very understanding, and I believe thats a trait every teacher should have. My guidance counselor has been a tremendous help towards my future plans, and I could not be more grateful for that. However, I have also had no so good experiences with teachers in the past. Many teachers expected so much from us as students, and not understanding that everyone has their own life outside of that classroom. That's something I would like to see change. I love teachers that are not overwhelming with the amount of work. Aside from that, my experience at NVOT has been great. The schools amazing academically and in sports too. I am proud that I got to experience this school.
