Clear playing cd! I bought a used version and it was clean, and clear of scratches or damages, great quality. Great hits from the eighties and nineties
Expected a standard CD case instead of Digi-pak. HOWEVER, that didn't take away from all the 5 star grooves on this album! You got classic club jamz as well as tender moments oozing out of this album. I know you are "Suspicious". So, turn up the volume...and let your "Body Talk" on "Two Occassions".."that's day and night". "And now you know The Deele"!
A five member band with one member being Kenneth "Babyface" Edmunds, which would be the platform he would use to strengthen his hold on R&B. Face and the boys did their thang and did it well, I must say. Their dance tracks are full 90's flava and haven't lost their shine. They knew how to make it move. Their ballads, however, is the stuff that romance and dreams are made of. The majority sung by lead Babyface...well...you already know the rest. He used his talent for writing the ultimate ballads and transended it to making a living off guiding people together, no matter what the cost of what needs to be paid to obtain that track. SWEET NOVEMBER, IF I SENT YOU ROSES....WHAT??? Git cho life. Everyone had to have a start, and for the 'Face, here was his, and thanks to this group, we got the funky side of smooth black music.
I purchased this cd and I am not disappointed. It brings back so many good memories. It also brings some sad ones. Music just isn't made like this anymore. From Just My Luck, I'll Send You Roses, Sweet November, Two Ocassions, Shoot Em Up Movies etc.. there is no disappointment. I didnt realize that the Deele had made most of these hits so I was very delighted when I listed to I'll Send You Roses and realized that I'd been searching for this song. Anyway I give it five stars because of the 16 tracks at least 12 are keepers for me.
Really good CD. I hadn't heard them before until I saw Baby Face and crew perform one last time on BET Awards Show. Some really good stuff on this old school music CD.
I purchased this CD for a particular person in the group after watching an UNSUNG episode and I remembered hearing the group years ago and enjoyed their music then so I was sure I'd still enjoy it.....I do.
