Latto's Eight-Word Message to Angel Reese Is All Over Social Media Following WNBA Debut

Caitlin Clark is the biggest name in women's sports right now, but Angel Reese might not be that far behind. The Chicago Sky rookie made a strong first impression in her WNBA debut Wednesday night.

Reese, the former LSU national champ, finished with 11 points, eight rebounds and one assist to begin her WNBA career. The Sky put up a good fight, but fell to the Dallas Wings by a final score of 87-79 in their season opener.

Reese's debut in Dallas brought out some big-name celebrities. Most notably, former NBA superstar Dirk Nowitzki was in town for the game. Even Latto, a female rapper, was sitting courtside. While Nowitzki was no doubt there to cheer on a Dallas sports franchise because of his affiliation to the Mavericks, Latto was there for an entirely different reason: to watch Angel Reese.

Latto sent an eight-word message to Reese following her WNBA debut, making it clear that the Chicago Sky rookie was the sole reason she attended the game.

“I came just for Angel Reese I’m out," Latto said.

Latto's message and the accompanying video she put out is all over social media.

Reese is clearly making a huge impact in both the sports and pop-culture world. It's only a matter of time before her name is getting used in lyrics from popular artists. Perhaps Latto can sneak her name in there in a new single.

Reese and the Sky will try and get in the win column this Saturday in a rematch vs. the Wings.
