UPDATE: The missing endangered alert was canceled Friday night at the request of the Durham Police Department, according to the N.C. Center for Missing Persons.
DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has issued a missing endangered alert Thursday evening for Durham teen.
At 6:16 p.m., the alert was issued for 17-year-old Jaden Malachi Williams.
According to the alert, Williams was last seen Wednesday at Hillside High School on the 3700 block of Fayetteville St. in Durham.
The alert said he is believed to be suffering from a cognitive impairment.
It described Williams as about 5’4 and 185 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, black pants and a brown shirt.
His direction of travel is unknown, however, the alert said he may be heading to the area of Braggtown.
Anyone with information about Williams’ whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Durham Police’s front desk at 919-560-4427.
