hi new here, i just updated from 3.2.18066 to latest ver 3.4.23188. uk ford connect, 2019 model. 4" screen, no maps. successfully downloaded and installed via usb to radio. the only issue is the display size is too big for the screen? has anybody else had this issue? ive power and fastforward forced restarted it with the same issue. is there away around this or will i have to downgrade to an earlier version. any help would be great thx log file attatched…

Cyanlabs messaged me via discord but was unable to confirm, he told me to download CyanLabs — Today at 22:49
NU5T-14G381-BB - SYNC 3 APIM Software (IVSU) Database - CyanLabs might be what you want but I think there is a newer version also, download the auto install put in root of usb and the tar.gz In the syncmyride folder.
i assume i just replace the autoinstall in usb root and tar.gz file in syncmyride folder. so still 5 files in syncmyride.

That’s correct, the most recent version for 3.4 for 4’’ I’m tracking is NU5T-14G381-BB…

So create an auto install for that package and it should work. You can’t use Syn3Updater for 4 inch variants…

Thx everyone, yes i installed this morning , the fordlogo came up then black screen. The radio and volume still worked so i new it would be ok, it stayed on black screen all day till i got in the van to come home from work and hey presto it all works lol. Did a reset to default to clear any bugs, dab radio works now but tbe sterio head set is that bad that i cant connect any apps to it lol something about my model hasnt got a built in modem! No drama as its a works van, but glad its all working again. Thanks for you help and thx to cyanlabs for messaging me back at 11 pm last night on discord. Amazing service

You are not the first person to report this kind of behavior, I’m not sure what’s that about… but yeah, it eventually fixes itself… :man_shrugging:
