Mrs. Jimmie(Jean) Hill Locklear, age 79, of 217 Mt. Tabor Rd Providence Place Apt 103, Red Springs, North Carolina, was born on December 19, 1937 to the late Mr.Clarence Hill and the late Ruby Kersey Hill in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center, Lumberton, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Allen Hill, Tex Hill, and Alton Hill. 

She leaves to cherish her memory: three sons, Ryan Locklear and wife Wanda of Lumberton, North Carolina, Harry Britt and David Britt both of Oak Island, North Carolina, four daughters, Angel Locklear of Lumberton, North Carolina, Phyllis Locklear and husband Rev. Kinyata Locklear, of Maxton, North Carolina, Shannon Jones and husband Adrian of Pembroke, North Carolina, and Vicky Donahue of Parkton, North Carolina, four sisters, Virginia Jones  and Cathy Guy both of Parkton, North Carolina, Ann McRee of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Shirley Godfrey of St. Pauls, North Carolina, nineteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren.  A.J. Jones a special grandson that loved helping his grandmother.
