Really enjoyed the market on a Saturday and would've gone back on the Sunday if our plans had been flexible. We were told there are more vendors on Sundays. Very friendly vendors, good assortment of stands, and lots of parking. If visiting Powell River this is a good way to start the day. I bought the sweetest, one of kind apron at this market.... love it and wear it all the time! I love supporting all the local farmers and crafts people!

Fabulous farmers market with produce, meat, eggs, flowers, plants, herbs, honey, baking and crafts. Entertainment for the whole family!

I highly recommend this venue. I have been able to visit only twice thus far on a Saturday and again on a Sunday. Sunday was a bigger turn-out. The food offerings range from prepared tacos, home-baked goods and fresh fruit and vegetables.
There are many non-food items for sale, as well a free children's play area and a small train ride. This is a popular place for locals to meet and enjoy listening to whomever is on stage, while eating a fresh cinnamon bun or shopping for mushrooms or pottery.

Love the fresh produce that is here. There is even a berry farm that come on Saturday with fresh strawberries.

It has everything... great selection of locally produced food and crafts. Awesome entertainment...lots of parking, and some of the nicest people you've ever met. I found the prices reasonable and the quality second to none! If you have a chance to visit this market, you won't be disappointed!

Alleen op zaterdag ochtend en zondag middag. Een echt country duo in de muziektent, een oudere dame en heer, met aanstekelijk enthousiasme. Verder wat eettentjes, bloemenstandje, originele handgemaakte souvenirs. Er rijdt een treintje voor kinderen. Gezellig, knus, kleinschalig. Voor tieners saai.

This market hasn't been commercialized yet. Each year it is different. I miss that special baker who has moved on and enjoy the new products that arrive. The hokey music has always been there. Just a special place.

All the reviews that are a one off,made me wonder but it is a real funky little market about 10 or so minutes out of town in a rural environment
There are a lot of parking stalls close for those with mobility issues and some further away as well
Good selection of quality vendors of all sorts, veggies,plants,pottery,baked goods
Nice play area for the kids
Rustic stage for the live music

Since moving to Powell River, we have enjoyed going to the Farmers' Market on weekends throughout the summer months. There is a wide variety of cooked foods, pastries and breads. As well you can find several vendors selling local crafts. For those with green thumbs you can purchase garden plants as well. Herbs, spices and healing balms can also be acquired. There is an area for the little kids and the bigger little kids to have a train ride, and you can also hear local talent perform at the open mike. It's all relaxed and friendly. Check it out!
