Duchess Meghan embraced her wild side on day two of her and Prince Harry’s trip to Nigeria.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended a training session for charity organization Nigeria: Unconquered this morning. For the occasion, Meghan pulled out an abstract zebra-print dress from Johanna Ortiz. The black and tan ensemble, which featured a high leg slit and keyhole bust detail, was a more casual spin on the duchess’s refined style. She dressed up her look with a stack of gold bangles, large gold earrings, round black sunglasses, and black thong sandals, wearing her hair slicked back in a ponytail.

Harry matched her dressed-down style in his familiar black Invictus Games polo top, which he paired with navy trousers and tan slip-on sneakers.

As the royals took their seats in the arena, they were given scarves in the green and white national colors of Nigeria. Harry, who was invited to take part in a sitting volleyball game, was cheered on by Meghan, who took time to meet nine-year-old Tiwa Akanbi. The girl’s mother, Desola, remarked: “She’s always wanted to meet her. She said last night, ‘When am I going to meet ‘Auntie Meghan?’ ”

As the impromptu photo opportunity ended, Meghan was welcomed into a crowded embrace of women wanting to show their appreciation. Many were wearing dresses made from the same black, white, and gold fabric, and gifted matching ensembles to the duchess. “We are friends and family supporters of Harry and Meghan,” Peace Adetoro, 57, said. “They are a beautiful couple, and we love them so much.”

After participating in the training session, Meghan and Harry attended a reception hosted by the Chief of Defence Staff in honor of military families.

The couple’s trip to the West African country began Friday. This afternoon, the duchess is also expected to cohost an event for Women in Leadership with Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, director-general of the World Trade Organization.

On Sunday, both Harry and Meghan will attend a basketball clinic with Giants of Africa, a cultural reception, and a polo fundraiser for Nigeria: Unconquered.

The two kicked off their visit on Friday, when they stopped by a school to learn about its new mental health initiative and enjoyed a dance put on by the students. Later, the Sussexes met with Nigerian Chief of Defence Staff Christopher Musa at the Defence Headquarters in the heart of Abuja, the country’s capital.

For the first occasion, Meghan looked lovely in a backless silk dress in a soft peach shade. And for the second engagement, she changed into a sleek white suit with flared pants.
