AIR TRAVEL

Air travel to and from the conference is complimentary for the qualifier and up to one guest. To receive your complimentary airfare, please complete the required fields during the registration process. Please see the 2024 Travel Policies for more information.

• Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) is the designated airport for the conference.
• Once your registration is submitted, a flight itinerary, including costs, will be emailed to you from LPL Financial Travel Headquarters. You must approve your flight itinerary prior to your flights being finalized.
• Airfares are subject to change without notice. The fares quoted cannot be guaranteed until you have approved the issuance of your airline ticket.
• Airline tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• If you require special travel arrangements, please indicate your plans during the registration process. This enables us to handle your request prior to ticketing. If you make changes after tickets are issued, you will be responsible for any additional costs charged by the airlines.
• As part of the Secure Flight initiative and to comply with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) regulations, it is mandatory that all airline passengers provide their full legal first name, middle name (if applicable), legal last name, date of birth and gender as it appears on their non-expired, government-issued photo ID used for travel identification. Reservations made without this information may be canceled. Not required, but optional if previously issued, is a Redress Number and Known Traveler Number.
• Due to negotiated airfares, the use of your frequent flyer airline or frequent flyer upgrade may not be possible or incur additional costs on your behalf.
• U.S. Citizens: For this trip, you must have a driver's license, passport, or government-issued photo ID.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

The JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort is approximately 50 miles (55 minutes) from Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW).

Transfer Information

Transfers will be arranged for qualifiers and their registered guests on main arrival (March 6 or 9) and departure days (March 9 or 12) according to your itinerary booked through LPL Financial Travel Headquarters. If your air travel is not booked on main arrival and departure days or you choose to fly into a different airport other than Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), you will be responsible for your own transportation. Hotel Parking

At the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort, valet parking is $35 per day, and self-parking is $40 per day.

FINRA REGULATIONS

LPL Financial is required to report to FINRA that Masters is a working meeting and an established program. Hotel benefits are to be used within the conference dates only. LPL Financial providing benefits outside of these parameters potentially puts the program at risk.

IRS Reporting Requirements

• In accordance with IRS reporting requirements, all non-business related benefits provided by LPL Financial for the benefit of our financial advisors are required to be reported as income to them on their 1099-Misc. Examples of non-business related benefits include airfare, transfers, and meals provided by LPL Financial to spouses, guests, or children who have no business purpose in attending a conference.
• If an airline or train ticket paid for by LPL Financial is not used by the invited qualifier due to registration cancellation, the value of the ticket will be reported as income on their 1099-Misc at the end of the year.
