Five days after Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Logan Paul drove the Internet into a frenzy with their exhibition bout, Lamar Odom and Aaron Carter will try to do the same with a fight of their own.
Odom, the former two-time NBA world champion with the Los Angeles Lakers, clashes with recording artist Carter Friday night at the Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey and live on pay-per-view. The celebrity boxing match is set for three rounds. UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell will serve as the special guest referee for the bout.
Last month, Odom told TMZ Sports that he guarantees a first-round knockout of Carter, having expressed interest in possibly facing Jake Paul thereafter to avenge former NBA star Nate Robinson's humiliating defeat against the YouTuber.
Of course, Carter will try to spoil that plan by defeating Odom. Carter will be giving up nearly a foot in height against the former NBA champ.
Will Odom make good on his promise to knock Carter out in the first round or will Carter record his latest pop hit in the ring at Odom's expense?
