The Floris V-pad is a Dutch long-distance trail (LAW1-3) from Amsterdam to Bergen op Zoom. The trail is divided into 13 segments. Floris V was the count of Holland and Zeeland in the 13th century. As such, the hike is all about Dutch history, along with a good dose of nature. The tour passes Holland's largest rivers and lakes, along forts and castles.
The Floris V-pad is well-marked, and a comprehensive guidebook is available. There are many amenities along the way; keep in mind that there are a couple of segments without overnight accommodations. Campsites are marked with waypoints on AllTrails' independent segments.
The start and finish can be reached by public transportation, and there are pick-up and drop-off points in Woerden and Dordrecht. At the end of the trail there are transfer options to international hiking trails GR5, GR12 and E2.
