      Critics Consensus

Repo Man is many things: an alien-invasion film, a punk-rock musical, a send-up of consumerism. One thing it isn't is boring.

Carrie Rickey Boston Herald Repo Man is the saltiest, sweetest, most sublimely sleazy tickle in the Los Angeles ribs. If it doesn't convulse you with belly laughs, then you're a stiff. Sep 30, 2022 Full Review Kristy Strouse Film Inquiry Repo Man is, if nothing else, one of a kind. This mash-up of sci-fi, humor, and peculiarities, is a cult classic worthy of its following and influential in its intrinsically offset experience. It’s freak, and that’s a good thing. Mickey R One of the best movies. You can watch it over and over and see things that you didn't catch the first time. Tarantino used a lot of this movies SoCal type of life in his movies. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/09/24 Full Review BROOKSAND H I don't know how I missed this cult classic but I'm glad this film found me today. Emilio Estevez plays Otto a young, angry, confused punk who is searching for life's answers when he falls into becoming a Repo Man. Through the job he finds love, conflict, possible aliens and most importantly himself. I absolutely loved it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/01/24 Full Review Georgan G Have to give this film credit for being very unique and a cult classic.
