Summer House season 8 is around the corner, with several returning cast members and a couple of fresh faces. Last season ended with Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard making amends with Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula after a season of feuding. Kyle had suggested that Carl and Lindsay's relationship was getting in the way of Carl's job at Loverboy, Kyle and Amanda's canned cocktail company, which Carl denied. Their fight began to hurt their long-standing friendship, and Lindsay was starting to become the villain.

Carl left his job at Loverboy, following his feud with Kyle, to focus on himself and his relationship with Lindsay. However, things have changed for the couple since last summer. Carl and Lindsay broke off their engagement and relationship after dating for almost two years. After the news of their engagement being over, rumors began to swirl that Carl broke up with Lindsay on camera for Summer House season 8. Judging by the trailer that was recently released, it seems like those rumors were true. Nonetheless, a lot happened with the cast prior to Carl and Lindsay ending their relationship.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

Carl Radke

Summer House star Carl Radke

Carl, along with several other current Summer House cast members, has been on the show since season 1. However, this season will be the most life-changing one for the soon-to-be 39-year-old. According to the Summer House bios on BravoTV, Carl has started "searching for a new career passion and pushing into new ventures." following his exit from Loverboy.

Even though Carl is happy to be on the job hunt, Lindsay wants him to make a choice and quick. Now that the couple is more settled into their relationship, Carl has noticed a "shift" in their dynamic and feels he may have rushed into an engagement. This was likely the start of the end of Carl's relationship with Lindsay.

Lindsay Hubbard

As for Lindsay, Summer House season 8 will focus on her planning her wedding to Carl, which was supposed to take place in November 2023. Despite Lindsay putting together her dream wedding, she and Carl are having some issues, which they are trying to work out in couples therapy. Lindsay can't seem to get on board with Carl's constant positivity, as she is more comfortable in a relationship that has more conflict. It seems their therapy helped Lindsay and Carl realize they were better off without each other.

Kyle Cooke

Kyle has returned for his eighth season of Summer House, and once again, his relationship with Amanda is taking a back seat. Kyle and Amanda's company, Loverboy, has done so well in the last couple of years, and Kyle is looking to continue expanding the company. However, Amanda is more focused on their future as a family. Kyle will likely learn this season how to juggle his personal and professional life with his wife, Amanda.

Amanda Batula

Amanda went through a pregnancy scare while filming Winter House season 3, and it seems she is contemplating whether or not she's ready to start a family with Kyle. The 32-year-old is ready to leave New York City behind and move to the suburbs, but her husband Kyle doesn't seem ready to take that next step due to their beverage company. Similar to every other season, Amanda is having relationship issues with Kyle.

Paige DeSorbo

After joining Summer House season 3, Paige DeSorbo has been a staple in the series. Known for never getting out of bed, Paige is ready to get up and start looking for a new apartment in NYC. While she's not ready to make the move to Charleston, South Carolina, for her long-term boyfriend, Craig Conover from Southern Charm, Paige is ready to make room for him in a larger apartment.

Danielle Olivera

After her two-year relationship with Robert Sieber came to an end, Danielle Olivera is ready for her first single summer in years. After her romance with Alex Prospen during Winter House season 3 was a bust, Danielle is ready for a new romance inside or outside the summer house. Not only is Danielle ready for a summer fling, but she also wants to repair her friendship with Lindsay after a tumultuous summer last year.

Ciara Miller

Ciara Miller is hitting the ground running for Summer House season 8. Not only does she have a more positive mindset walking into the summer house, but she's trying to be more open to romance. Gabby Prescod first joined the house for Summer House season 7, and she's ready to spend another summer with her new friends. After her parents left NYC for good to have a fresh start in Texas, Gabby is feeling more alone than ever. Luckily, she will have the support of her friends this summer to get her through her feelings of abandonment.

West Wilson

West is one of the new faces joining Summer House season 8. He is a sports journalist who was recently laid off from his job and is now looking to have some fun this summer. After meeting Lindsay in the city, she clearly saw he was a great addition to the house and decided to invite him to stay for the summer. West does have commitment issues, so he likely didn't think he'd find a relationship in the house. However, with rumors swirling about him and Ciara, she may have just taken West off the market.

Jesse Solomon

Another newbie joining the house along with West is Jesse Soloman. Jesse works in Investor Relations and is "a veteran of the Hamptons summer." Standing at 6'5", Jesse likely won't have any trouble with the ladies and doesn't care if they are in a relationship or not. Hopefully, Jesse doesn't cause too much drama on Summer House season 8.

Summer House season 8 premieres on February 22 at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
