will i ever able to take jee mean as it is my dream exam but i am from arts background with no knowledge of maths
I am sorry to say "no" for jee mains exam your background subject must be maths
I have filled my category as general in jee mains but i have ews certificate. will i able to apply in jac delhi counselling??? plz reply
No, if you filled the category as general in JEE Mains but actually have an EWS (Economically Weaker Section) certificate, you won't be able to apply under the EWS category for JAC Delhi counselling
The category selection in the JEE Mains application form is final after submission and payment. You cannot change it later .Since you selected general category in JEE Mains, your application will be considered under the general category for JAC Delhi counselling as well.
In a very rare chance, JAC Delhi might allow category change during counselling for genuine cases with proper documentation.

does upcet counselling based on jee mains ranks
Yes, UPTAC (Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling) counselling does base its seat allotment for B.Tech programs on JEE Main ranks. This centralized counselling process manages admissions to various engineering colleges (including government and private colleges) affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) in Uttar Pradesh.
A valid and qualifying score in the JEE Main exam is mandatory for appearing in UPTAC counselling for B.Tech courses.
UPTAC counselling might also consider other entrance exams (like CUET) for admission to non-engineering programs offered by participating institutions.
