Reviews
- For a non-jazz fan like me this turns out interesting. For a singer who did not like to listen to her own recordings, she kept a tape of this one in her car. She recorded it the way she liked, in a light-hearted easy manner. Production credit is the Teresa Gramophone Company, 1985. Recorded in 1982.
I've recorded mine in the form of a music video with cover art, which helps the listening enjoyment. - The cute Teresa Brewer is nowhere to be found on this album. She does a great subdued job on the vocals. The group backing her, Bucky Pizzarelli, Slam Stewart and Ray Mantilla, add an interesting and entertaining jazz instrumentation. My favorite on the album is the Cornet playing of Ruby Braff. Sweet sounding on every track he plays on. I like this effort by all involved.
