this anime is similar to ancient magus bride. And first episode was a strong start. As long as they keep it up ill be back by the end of the series to give it a 5 star rating. love ya'll don't forget to eat your cookies today.

Starting strong
A great first episode, hopefully it will carry on being great.
This Anime is set in Victorian England when a girl who is forced to beg every day by her "father" meets a demon, as they begin to meet each other every night the girl is then sold to a uhhh.... questionable man.
That's all I'm writing now GO WATCH IT IF THAT SOUNDS INTERESTING!
If this becomes absolute rubbish I will update my review.

Not the best, not the worst.
Finishing the season, doesn't necessarily mean it was enjoyed.
For my part, it had its moments, but I found it to be a rather rough watch. Of all the shows I watched to completion this season, this one ranks in the bottom quarter of them (but I won't start watching shows that I don't think I'll enjoy, and if the early episodes draw me in & it goes downhill quickly enough, I'll bail on the show).
Mostly, I found it difficult to get invested in the characters.
The MC has her moments, but they felt few & far between. I enjoyed the banter between some of the characters, but it gets old quickly between some of the others. I did like the granny from the Knights of the Sword Cross, but week after week, I just watched to see how it ended the season.
If they have a 2nd season, good for them, but this is my stop.
Although, if you think you might enjoy this show, go into it w/o expectations and see what you think for yourself.

A strong start
Welp anyone can see that it has ancient magus bride written all over it. But the relationship is still wholesome. Definitionally worth giving a try.

First episode Fire!
The Winter 2023 season has been absolute fire so far!!! First episode was amazing! Can't wait to see what happens to this perfect pair!!
