What would have happened if Grimes had not collaborated with d'Eon?

The EP was still named Darkbloom?

Would they have been more songs?

What each of them contributed to Darkbloom was never actually worked on by the other person. Grimes created the first 5 tracks by herself and then d'Eon added his tracks. That's why you can find Darkbloom on streaming services like Apple and Spotify where it's just her credited as the artist, with only her songs.

Honestly not much would have changed if d'Eon hadn't added his tracks. I think its fair to say that nobody really listens to his songs, they're not as interesting or (controversial) good as Grimes', and plus nobody really knows d'Eon outside of the Canadian ambient electronic scene. Quite a controversial statement I guess but I think we can all agree that Darkbloom owes like 90% of its success to Grimes.

ive actually never listened to deons songs on darkbloom, and most people only talk about grimes songs on that ep. I think a lot of people would agree with you tbh
