We had a great, fun day at the conservatory! The live butterfly exhibition was amazing, and the kids had a blast playing around the gardens, the kids' playground, and the little waterfall. It was an awesome experience for the whole family. Highly recommend!

Rainy day but still fun to shop. So many shops to see. Loved it! Our favorite was the Amazon style shop, such a cool concept.

A great way to spend a rainy day.

This is convenient to the convention center, which is helpful for conference goers like myself to find a decent meal within walking distance. This is classified as a farmer's market, but is basically a food court. It looks like they are doing construction so maybe there is a second component that is not yet open? Anywho, there is a wide variety of foods (maybe a dozen or more) here. I had the BBQ and the hot chicken while attending my conference. I'd say the BBQ is average and you can probably skip that one. The hot chicken on the other hand was quite good and I highly recommend that one. The seating area can get quite crowded as a result of the conference rush. It is best to plan to get a jump on the lunch break. For tourists attending during a conference, I'd just skip it because of the lunch rush. This is an excellent lunch option, but your experience will vary based on the specific food outlet you choose.

Loved strolling through German Village. The old brick streets and cute houses are adorable. Lots of neat little shops and tasty food. Parking was a bit of a hassle, though.

This was our second time at COSI. We haven’t been here since 2019.

It was Spring Break so a little more crowded for a Monday but it was fine. The parking garage was very busy right at 10, but once in check in was easy.

We primarily went for the Titanic exhibit. I love that they make guests select a time and it helps spread out guests. We all received a passenger ticket and at the end we found out if our passenger survived. These artifacts are amazing to see in person. We absolutely loved the exhibit with sets that made you feel you were on Titanic.

Our family enjoyed the eclipse show at the Planetarium, Progress City, Water, and Gadgets. Some of the exhibits have not changed since last time we there but our kids didn’t remember that.

They could improve their cafe experience from ordering to checkout, plus the costs for food were extremely high, and if I was from in town I would have packed.

Overall our kids had a great time.

Went to the Ohio State game vs Maryland,October 7 2023 and the stadium was amazing and the fans are just great people to watch a game.I have been to many football stadiums where they are fights the whole game with fans but we did not see any of that garbage where there was over 100,000 fans.A great place for families to go and watch a game.

Went to see Tina, and even though we were in te nose bleed seats, we still had a good view. The accustics were great! The building itself is beautiful! Seats very comfortable. If in Columbus again and have the opportunity to see a show at this venue, I definately will!

This was the perfect place for us to use as a base (staying at The Joseph hotel) for our Columbus vacation. There were lots of restaurants (like Northstar Café, Rooh, The Guild House, The Lox, Jeni's) and shops (Samson, Big Fun, Macaron Bar). It is clean and beautiful (lots of murals) and in easy walking distance to the North Market and Goodale Park.

One of our favorite baseball parks. The skyline of Columbus is visible in the outfield and every seat offers a great view of the action. Prices are very reasonable -- had a hot dog, beer and bottled water for under $12. Fun place to enjoy good baseball. Plenty of parking nearby.

Street and underground 6’6” clearance parking ($3/hour). We were too late for the tour, so did a self-guided one. Very interesting to see the different construction with an inside center that was more a cylinder than a dome. The building does not look like most capitols. House has 99 representatives and 33 in the Senate. Lots of stairs, but they were beautiful architecture; easy to see many fossils in the stone.
Don't miss the outside sculptures and displays. We especially liked the Holocaust and Liberators memorial. Ohio is to be commended for flying the Israeli flag in support for that only democracy in the Middle East.

Although I am a graduate of Ohio state I have not always been a fan. That is to say I received eight years of education but I was always critical of my undergraduate degree. Seasoned by time I’m little more impressed.
I often hear it said that Ohio State is so large that you get lost. I strongly disagree. it’s a beautiful large campus with some beautiful buildings, hidden secrets, and other features possibly not found at a small college.
Living in a small college town now with an incredible amount of loyalty from its alums, I understand that perhaps that is not always found in each and every Ohio State graduate.
On the other side of that coin I would argue that Ohio State offers nearly every major possible and if you change your mind or if you’re really influenced by a particular discipline, Professor, or course you have latitude to transfer to that course of study without leaving the university.
When I was a student there was a strong Greek system which has probably been diluted.
All in all I guess Ohio State could be a place to find yourself. just don’t expect the personal attention that you might get at a small liberal arts school.
