Stayed for a beach getaway and was wowed by this clean & well kept property. The room was thoughtfully designed with loads of shelving for all of the things we had pulled out of our luggage, as well as snacks and drinks - really helped keep the room feeling tidy. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions and requests. The light and warmth of hospitality glows strongly here! The hotel even has a stash of beach supplies you can borrow (beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc) which was great for us as we had flown to Florida so naturally didn’t have that kind of stuff with us - this both saved us from having to buy beach chairs and saved the environment from what would have been wasteful purchases left behind. The beach is walkable - but it’s about a 20 minute walk, so with the heat we made the 3 minute drive instead. Casey Key beach is lovely and quiet. The bbq area at the pool is a great option as most of the local restaurants serve very similar stuff. Recommend hitting restaurants early if dining out, we went around 7/8pm most nights and a couple of times felt very unwelcome despite closing times posted as 10pm.

We were want to say somewhere between Sarasota and Venice Beach Florida this hotel was available and price was good
I’ve never stayed in one of these branded hotels but definitely liked it larger rooms little kitchenettes breakfast was good coffee was great everything was clean and simple
Staff was great and friendly but most of all loved the location only 15 to 20 minutes from Sarasota and only three minutes maybe from Venice Beach
The hotel is also located right next-door to a nice big new filling station so you can simply walk out the side of the hotel and go grab some snacks or something within a couple hundred feet. We also discovered there’s a beach right at the end of that that actually has some of the best shells and stuff I’ve ever seen loads and loads of shells. & five shark teeth we found.

This place is a great deal for the amount of space and amenities provided. It was New Year's Eve and the price was less than $150 when other hotels in Sarasota were $500+. The location is perfect for city and beach access. The hotel is NOT on Casey Key, however. It is at the intersection leading to the beach and not actually on a beach front with an ocean view. The hotel is newer and more spacious than most places in the area. We had a king bed, sofa bed, kitchenette, desk, lots of storage, and a large bathroom with shower. The facility even offers free daily breakfast, which can be taken to your room and warmed in your kitchen. All dishes and utensils are provided. The pool is heated and the patio area has lots of lounge chairs, a hot tub, and picnic tables with umbrellas. There's a shady courtyard and large lobby for guests to relax and read or work online using free Wi-Fi. The only negatives: no lotion or hair conditioner in the bathroom. Bring your own. Not enough pool towels and the few towels I saw were soooo small and scratchy. No big deal. I'm not a pet person, so I wasn't a fan of allowing dogs in a hotel. Other people loved the pets, so everyone feels differently. We'll definitely stay here again.

My family and I stayed for 3 weeks due to an unforeseen situation. The hotel is decent and the beds are very comfortable but the service is horrible. The fact that I had to do my own room cleaning and supply my own toiletries such as toilet paper, paper towel, dish washing soap and bar soap is ridiculous. I had to provide my own Trash bags and daily empty the garbage can. I did schedule for the 24 hour notice for housekeeping services to be done and the front desk staff wrote it in the book but guess what the next day no one came. So the. Following day we had to track down the housekeeper and explain to her that our room is in the book for housekeeping service and thats the only reason after 15 days our bedsheets and room was cleaned. It’s ridiculous and a shame on Hilton. Those clients that are staying for an extended time should be offered housekeeping more often or at least supply them with the basic toiletries. COVID shouldn’t be an excuse for lack of housekeeping services because if it is then do not book client and to my knowledge with COVID cleaning and sanitizing is the proper way!

The hotel is well maintained and conveniently located within a mile of the beaches at Casey Key. It is also next to a WaWa on rte. 41 and a traffic light away from a Publix. The rooms are well appointed with a full size fridge, sink, dishwasher and microwave. Plenty of good restaurants nearby as well.

We always stay in Hilton Hotels when we travel so we thought we would try the Home2 Suites since it was a newer Hilton and close to where we wanted to be near Venice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They answered questions about good places to eat and things to do. We reserved a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen. It was spacious and had a full size refrigerator and large microwave oven. We never felt crowded. For being a newer hotel if was surprising to find a couple of things that were not in working order. There are 2 doors in the bathroom, one leading into the bedroom. That door would not open ll the way. It appeared to need the bottom shaved off so it would not catch or rub on the floor. Fortunately the door that opened to the kitchen was in good working order. The bathroom sink was slow to drain. It needed to be flushed but that is an easier issue to handle. Room we stayed in was at the far end next to the Wa Wa gas station. Noise from traffic coming and going and cars engines revving up awakened me most every night. Some of the loud engines were from guests staying at this hotel, apparently long-term guests, heading to work in the early morning. There was only one laundromat area in the hotel and only one washing machine working. Several guests were waiting to use it at the time I was doing laundry. I did report it to the front desk clerk and he said the maintenance person already knew of it and was awaiting a part. The prices charged to do laundry was very reasonable: .75 cents a load. There is no room cleaning unless it is requested. I did request it after 3 days so on the 4th day our room got cleaned. The person who cleaned it (a male) did an excellent job and took al the time needed to make it look clean again.

A new hotel with all the requirements for a vacation stay.
Negatives for us but not for ithers are allowing dogs in the rooms. A very minor point the refrigerator in the room has the door hanging the wrong way.
Although others have remarked negatively on the breakfast I found it adequate and better than fuller service hotels.
The pool and barbeque area was clean and very well maintained.
The location was perfect for the beach.
There is a holiday Inn express planned across the road so they will need to maintain standards. On current performance they should be able to do that

We head to Venice, FL at least 4 times a year to check on my in-laws who are in an assisted living facility there and we ALWAYS stay at this property. It's clean and convenient, the beds are super comfy, and breakfast is tasty

BUT the main reason this is 5 star is the staff! The hospitality at this hotel is off the charts! Holly, the assistant GM is beyond amazing! She is so warm and welcoming, always has a smile and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. I also noticed that she helps her staff out in every way possible. I saw her throughout our stay assisting with housekeeping duties, cleaning up after breakfast, and doing the hard work of making sure everyone in the hotel lobby was continuing to wear a mask. This woman truly knows what being a good leader is! Because of the great leadership example of Holly, the hotel staff is happy, friendly and clearly enjoy their job! I always feel like family when I stay there!

Our family of three (2 adults and an 8 years old childl)stayed for 2 nights at Home2Suites by Hilton Nokomis. We chose this hotel because it has kitchenette and many positive reviews. We paid $514 for 2-nights stay. The room floor was dirty, it was never washed after previous guests. My child's socks were completely covered with dirt after 15 min walking on the floor. Some of the utensils were greasy, as well never washed after previous guests. The door in the bathroom had a huge gap between wall and itself, so that no privacy occurred. The pillows were completely outdated. They were supposed to go to trash years ago. The housekeeping was supposed to be scheduled. They do not provide it on daily basis. The breakfast just basic options. If the hotel charge $250 per night, at least the floor is supposed to be washed and housekeeping is supposed to be provided daily without having guests to schedule cleaning of the room. Would not stay again.Do not recommended for families with small children.

certainly! First thing I checked when I arrived after many hours on the road. Summoned the manager to the front desk and demanded a demonstration of the generators' power. After one hour, satisfied, I checken-in and retired to my clean, comfortable, spacious room fully asured that--should the power fail as I slept, the charger on my phone would continue to function.

Yes! Every one bedroom suite in our hotel has two TVs, one in the sitting area and one in the bedroom as well. Give us a call at (941) 412-0064 if you would like a more inclusive listing of all of our hotel's amenities.

Thank you for your question! We only allow guests with pets to stay on the 1st and 2nd floors of the hotel at this time. Each room that has a pet is professionally cleaned as well, should the next guest have any allergies that prevent them from being around animals. If you ever wish to stay on a floor with no pets, we can simply assign you to our 3rd and 4th floor rooms, where no pets should be staying. Thanks again for your question!
