    Ma and Pa Kettle

    I used to sit next to my mother and watched their movies which was kinda unusual back in the early 1970's. B/w when color was the ideal thing back then. Watching these movies are still enjoyable as they were back then. I now sit with my granddaughter and watch her amazement of the Kettles family.

    Love Ma & Pa

    Love Them Kettles. These movies were great. It's wonderful to watch wholesome movies without a bunch of CGI baloney! We now have two of the Ma and Pa Kettle movie sets and wish we had more. Thanks for such funny times as in these movie classics.

    Ma & Pa Kettle Vol #2

    What a great movie. I just love the way Ma controls the roost. Pa's role had the personality of many of the older male figues of today. They always try to get out of things to do and I'll get to it attitude. I enjoy showing it to my grandchildren so they can see what it was like in the "Good Old Days" for us. They were great years.

    Just What I Remembered

    This dvd is old time humor and might be a little boring to some. If you have an appreciation of the times that this was filmed in, then you will enjoy watching this light-hearted humor. It's a 'Mayberry' and 'Leave it to Beaver' mentality but fun to watch nevertheless. My mother has a Ma and Pa Kettle home; everything needs to be banged and kicked to get it to work. I think it's worth buying if you like this era and black and white sitcom films.

    MA AND PA KETTLE VOL 2

    Great comedy from a simpler time in movie entertainment. None of the stress from the real world just family friendly humor. You can watch these movies with your children, your parents, even your preacher. I know, I've watched them with them all and everyone loved them. Country comedy about a poor family with more children than money and enough love for all. If you like old comedies like the Bob Hope movies you will love these. The Kettles were the origional inspiration for the Beverly Hillbillies. And if you are a Jimmy Stewart fan He was one of the stars in the origional Kettle film The Egg And I.
