This restaurant just isn't what it used to be, perhaps the company has grown too much and has lost its personality? The food was very good, but not spectacular. The servers were nice, but we were absolutely rushed through our dinner. As we were still eating our appetizers, our salads came; as we were finishing our salads, our entrees arrived. No time to really enjoy any of the food. My husband doesn't drink, so I ordered a glass of wine upon sitting down. No one ever asked me if I wanted another glass or anything else to drink, though our water glasses were refilled... I think once during dinner. Everyone here is very nice, but there are too many other wonderful options for dining in St. Michaels/Easton, sorry to say we won't be back.

We came upon a recommendation of a friend, and we have thanked her countless times. Limoncello is located on the main street of St. Michaels, MD. It is a vibrant Italian restaurant with a bar. It is very popular so reservations are recommended. First of all, the food is out of this world. It is classic Italian. The pasta dishes were incredible. I had the pappardelle one night and the paccheri on another. My wife had the fettuccini Bolognese and raved about it. We did return as you can see. We canceled our reservations at a different restaurant for later in the week so we could return here. The wine selection is extensive. Finally the service was great. If you are in St. Michaels, Limoncello is a must stop.

Just WOW! My husband and I went to Limoncello while in town for an anniversary getaway. Every single item we ordered was delicious. It was one of the best meals I have had in a long time and wish this place was closer to our home. Highly recommend!!

We arrived at the bar - hoping to have a bottle of wine & some appetizers....hang out & relax.
Almost immediately we realized something was missing - there was no Bartender. There were 3 other couples looking at menus - obviously ready to order - but again no bartender.
After about 13 minutes someone appeared from the kitchen - gave us a menu & said they would be 'right back'. Note, this individual did not bother to take orders from the other couples - just back to the kitchen.
We gave it another 10 minutes & bolted.
Service is always slow here - but absent a bartender is unacceptable. We promptly we over to C-Street for great food & service.

Limoncello’s - excellent entrees, great service, wine special
We chose this dining venue due to past great experience, tonight we had early dinner where we thoroughly enjoyed the Ribeye ai Funghi (Patti) and Veal Saltimbocca (Jack) and the Monday/Tuesday special of half priced bottles of wine. Kim did a fabulous and personal job facilitating our dining experience. While entree prices are somewhat elevated, the quality and quantity justify the price.

Monday and Tuesday are half price bottles of wine. The lunch menu has very large portions. Reservations are advised. The window seats are great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Limincello! We started off with the most delicious bruschetta I’ve ever eaten..and scrumptious, tender, lightly breaded calami. I had a flavorful fresh pasta dish overflowing with seafood. The red broth was light and flavorful. My husband enjoyed his homemade pasta with a boar ragu. We were too full to enjoy dessert. Great dinner and nice atmosphere as well.

Everything was magnificent from start to finish. I enjoyed the Limoncello martini and the Moscato Scallops appetizer was delicious! The Lobster ravioli with creamy tomato sauce was the best entree I had during our whole vacation. My husband had the Paccheri All'amatriciana which had flavorful sauce, very slightly spicy. All if it was so good, including the service. We highly recommend Limoncello!

We booked a 3-night minimum stay in St. Michaels in early August specifically to dine at the Limoncello. A visit 2 years earlier to the restaurant was that special. The food quality remained superb. We did a repeat on the scallops moscato app. Still I am writing this review almost a month later as a plea to the manager to get the FOH better trained, specifically the host stand.
The hostess never assigned or notified (it's not clear) the wait staff that our table and the one next to us had been sat. She was oblivious we had no food 30 minutes in as she sat at the bar on her phone. The restaurant was busy (but not slammed) when we arrived so - watered and breaded - we waited patiently and it turns out unnecessarily for that half-hour before speaking up.
The server who then arrived was efficient. Still her primary response was to grumble about the hostess. An apology suggesting the restaurant would do better would have helped us relax to finally enjoy the dinner. That did not happen.

Limoncello is our favorite St. Michael’s restaurant. Our large party had different entrees and all agreed they were excellent! They are willing to customize entrees upon request. They have a great wine selection. Service was prompt, pleasant and knowledgable.

On our first night in St. Michaels, my wife and I dined at Limoncello. They are an Italian restaurant and wine bar in the center of St. Michaels. The evening started on a confusing note. After the hostess seated us, no server came to our table. After 20 minutes I approached the hostess who sent a server to our table. After that, the service was fine. We began by sharing the finnocchietta salad. The salad was a mixture of fennel, olives, pistachios, arugula, blood oranges and pomegranate seeds in a lemon vinaigrette. It was fresh and refreshing. Entrees were the veal saltimbocca and pasta with a mix of clams, mussels, shrimp, calamari and scallops in a light tomato sauce. Both were very good. We shared a sabayon with fresh fruit for dessert. Give Limoncello a try for a good Italian meal.

We stopped in at about 4:00 pm. There was one other table seated and eating. They tried to seat us at a small two seater and acted a little put out when I requested a table for four so we had elbow room. The bread was good as was our meal, not great but good. He wanted coke and they said they were out. Our waitress was not attentive as far as drinks or checking on us. We waited a bit for our bill also.

We have been to Limoncello about ten times and have recommended it enthusiastically to friends and family, but have been very disappointed the last two times we ate there. Tonight I ordered the halibut Livornese. While the sauce was quite good the halibut was not fresh, and the potatoes were over cooked; I ate less than half the fish. The same exact thing happened to my wife last week. Tonight she had the salmon, which she orders at many restaurants, and she said it was mediocre.
