Rajinikanth's digitally remastered 'Enthiran' to stream on OTT

Thirteen years after its release, Rajinikanth's 'Enthiran', which hit screens on 1st October 2010, is all set for a re-release now on OTT! The film, which was directed by Shankar, who had delivered three superhits with the Superstar - 'Sivaji: The Boss', 'Enthiran' and '2.0', will be streaming on SunNXT from June 9, 2023 onwards.
The production house posted, "For the first time ever, #Enthiran DIGITALLY REMASTERED IN 4K, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos! Streaming from 9th June only on @sunnxt.Get ready to witness the visual grandeur like never before!"

Produced by Sun Pictures, the film starred Rajinikanth & Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles. AR Rahman had composed the music for this film, which revolved around the struggle of a scientist K. Vaseegaran (played by Rajinikanth) to control his android humanoid robot named Chitti (also played by Rajinikanth), after Chitti's software is upgraded to give it the ability to comprehend and exhibit human emotions.
