It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Elihu Fitzroy Henry on July 23, 2023 in Orlando, Florida while on vacation with his wife, his children and all his grandchildren. Born on June 4th, 1959 in London, England, he moved to Canada with his parents and siblings in 1967. He will be forever cherished and missed by his wife and best friend Myrna-Joy (née Joshua) of 40 years, children Heather (Doug), Melanie (Lee) and Joshua (Kate) and grandchildren, Madeleine, Nathalie, Eli, Alexander, Sebastian, and Ezra. Predeceased by his mother Brider, he is survived by his father Roy (Cindy); his siblings: Sharon, Charmaine (Stanley), Alan (Sandra), Brian and Brendan (Ianthe); and brother-in-law, Peter. All of us, including his many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and friends, will miss him greatly.

Elihu was very active within his family and community. He was an avid pickleball and badminton player, a soccer coach, a Porsche lover, and a member of Trinity United Church. He always made time to lend a hand and did so with pleasure. He worked as a Respiratory Therapist and then Anesthesia Assistant for over 35 years, teaching, leading and always learning. By being present and in the moment, Elihu made everyone feel special. His smile, hugs, laugh, advice, and example will be missed.
